Union County is a great place to live and do business, and Charlotte Pipe is proud to be an active part of this community. Along with our associates serving on local non-profit boards, we support some great, local organizations. Here are a few:
HealthQuest
HealthQuest provides prescription medications to the folks in our community who can’t afford them. For a $20 administrative fee, citizens can get up to 7 prescription medications per month. Charlotte Pipe has had someone on the board since it was established 25 years ago and is a sponsor for their annual fundraisers.
Union Diversified Industries (UDI)
Since the mid-1990s, Union Diversified Industries has been a key partner with Charlotte Pipe’s Plastics Division. The amazing clients at UDI, all of whom are adults with developmental disabilities, do assembly work for Charlotte Pipe, and take great pride in their work. In fact, when asked who they work for, many of the clients respond with Charlotte Pipe.
Union County Public Schools (UCPS)
As part of our Educational Outreach initiative, we partner with Union County Public Schools to inform students and educators about Charlotte Pipe and the career opportunities we offer. We attend college and career fairs at elementary, middle and high schools. We send speakers into the schools and we invite students and educators to tour our facility.
We are thankful to these organizations, and all that are doing the work, to keep Union County a wonderful place to work and live.
