The Monroe Channelcats The Monroe Channelcats Baseball Club Inc., is a summer wood bat baseball team that was founded in 2005 and is sanctioned by the NCAA and partially funded by Major League Baseball. The Monroe Channelcats is a memeber of the Southern Collegiate Baseball League, which is a wooden bat league made up of nine teams located in the Carolinas and Eastern Tennessee.This league gives some of the nations top college players who have not yet signed a professional contract and that still have college elgibility, the opportunity to develop their skills at a higher level of play, gain experience with wood bats, while being evaluated by professional scouts. www.monroechannelcats.com |
