The Union County Chamber is a regional organization, serving all business and geographic areas of Union County and businesses in surrounding counties.

Among our priorities are providing value added member services, advocacy and community leadership.

In order to provide optimum service to all members, including those in the fastest growing areas of our county, which may be hard to reach, we have established three area councils.

The Chamber is proud to serve these areas and commends their growth and progressiveness.  Our proactive philosophy and mission are to provide those areas with the same quality service the Chamber has provided to its traditional service area.

• The Union West Council serves businesses in Indian Trail, Stallings, Lake Park and Hemby Bridge.
• The Waxhaw Area Council serves businesses in Waxhaw and Mineral Springs.
• The Weddington-Marvin-Wesley Chapel Area Council serves businesses in those towns.

 The purpose of each area council is to offer programs and services and facilitate communication and fulfillment of the Chamber’s mission and vision.  The area councils serve as delivery systems to fulfill this purpose.

Each area council annually determines its unique goals and programs and elects its officers. Each area council has representation on the Chamber board of Directors in the person of its chair.

Area councils typically host quarterly events located at member business firms within their service areas. All Chamber member businesses located within an area council’s service area (defined by zip code) are automatically members and are encouraged to attend and participate in area council functions.

In order to maximize service to members in outlying areas, the Chamber  has established and operates two satellite offices:

*106 E. South Main Street, Waxhaw , 704-289-4567at the Citizens South Mortgage office

Both offices are staffed on Thursday mornings 9-12 or by appointment.
